Get a Lens setup plan for your campaigns
Tell us where your ads run and answer ten questions about your links, your landing page and how you measure. You get a step-by-step plan for getting going with Lens, built around your setup. It runs in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask us to email it.
The plan is built in your browser, so it needs JavaScript. You can still read every question below, or email [email protected] and we will go through it with you.
How this works
Your answers sort into two halves. Match is whether Lens can show each campaign the right copy: your links, your campaign names, your audiences, your pages, your headline and the tag. Measure is whether you can read the result: one clear action, counted on the page, compared with a control group, with enough traffic behind it.
Anything not fully in place becomes a step, with what you do and what Lens does. Anything already in place is listed as done. There is no score, because this is a plan, not a grade.
The plan is built in your browser. Its link holds where your ads run and the state of each step, never your answers in words, your name or your email.

What you do
What Lens does
Lens matches a visitor to a campaign when utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign all equal the campaign's values exactly, capitals included. A visit with no UTMs sees your original page.
When you create a campaign from a pasted ad URL, Lens keeps the tagged link, and each campaign card has a Copy button for it.
What you do
What Lens does
Matching is exact and case-sensitive, so spring-promo and Spring-Promo are two different campaigns to Lens.
Paste one of your ad URLs and Lens fills in the campaign's utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign, its target page and its name from the link.
What you do
What Lens does
For each campaign, Lens drafts a short description of who it is for and what they care about from its UTM values. You edit it, and the copy options are written from it.
What you do
What Lens does
Lens scans the pages you give it and lists the headlines, subheadings, paragraphs and buttons it can rewrite. Each one starts switched off until you choose it.
What you do
What Lens does
For every block you switch on, Lens writes two options for the campaign. You pick one, edit it or keep the original.
Nothing goes live until you click Publish, and Publish stays off until every block has a choice.
What you do
What Lens does
For each campaign, Lens compares the share of visitors who convert in the campaign group with the control group and shows the difference as lift.
What you do
What Lens does
Lens can count form submits and clicks through to booking, demo and chat tools such as Calendly, HubSpot and Intercom, plus mailto: and tel: links, with no code. Each type counts once it is switched on for the site, and scanning a page switches on the types its forms point to.
For anything else, one call counts it: window.__lensInstance.trackConversion('purchase').
What you do
What Lens does
Each site has one control-group rate, set from 0 to 20% in the dashboard. The control group sees your original copy.
The group is picked from the visitor's id, so a visitor who comes back lands in the same group every time.
What you do
What Lens does
Lens shows a campaign's lift once its control group has three visitors and at least one conversion, so read an early number as a direction, not a verdict.

A note for your developer
Hi, we're using Lens on our site. It shows visitors from our ad campaigns a version of the page's headline and copy that matches the ad they clicked.
Could you add the snippet below once, in the site-wide <head>? That can be the theme's header, the layout template every page shares, or a Google Tag Manager tag that fires on all pages. Once it's there, it covers the whole site. If the site has no shared header, it goes on each page instead.
Preview: your Lens dashboard fills in your site's values after you sign up. Paste the version from the dashboard.

<script src="https://foundryos.ca/signal.js" data-site-id="YOUR-SITE-ID" data-endpoint="https://tvcywvsnopctwxrzbjim.supabase.co/functions/v1/lens" data-api-key="eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJpc3MiOiJzdXBhYmFzZSIsInJlZiI6InR2Y3l3dnNub3BjdHd4cnpiamltIiwicm9sZSI6ImFub24iLCJpYXQiOjE3NzI4NTYzNTksImV4cCI6MjA4ODQzMjM1OX0.5T8A0CipaxnKSryB3_RT_KS7LenxYzfp3YtABOqBUO0" async></script>What it does and doesn't do:
- The script loads async, so it doesn't hold up the page.
- The style block can hide headings (h1 to h3) and paragraphs for up to 3 seconds while Lens loads. They always come back by then, even if the script is blocked.
- It only changes the text blocks we switch on in Lens.
- Visitors who don't come from one of our tagged ad campaigns see the site exactly as it is.
When it's in, let me know and I'll run the install check in our Lens dashboard. It loads the page and looks for the snippet and our site ID in the HTML. A Google Tag Manager tag won't show up there, but the dashboard also shows the tag as live once the site gets a visit.
Please paste it exactly as it is. Thanks.
What Lens does
The dashboard gives you the snippet with a copy button, has setup guides for Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Webflow and Shopify, and checks your page to confirm the tag is installed.
